Welcome to the NCS Jogathon Donation Site!

The annual Jogathon is a long-standing tradition at New Covenant School that supports childhood health and wellness as well as raises important funds to keep our school financially fit and running strong. NCS is a Preschool through Grade 5 Christian day school with campuses in Lexington (2.9 - age 5) and Arlington (K-5) and is committed to keeping access to excellent, private Christian education within reach to families in our high cost of living region. For the last 28 years, NCS students train and prepare physically, mentally and prayerfully to run as many laps as possible around a regulation-sized track in one hour. They raise funds through per lap or flat fee sponsorship for their hard work and effort.

Your generosity directly supports meaningful student work

Our teachers combine project-based learning with intentional character development to empower students to become problem solvers, critical thinkers, and active servant leaders in our community. Inspired by the principles of Expeditionary Learning, every class participates in a year-long expedition focus culminating with an authentic piece of work that serves people or a purpose outside of our school community. Your generous support will assist our students with their Expedition work.

Past Topics of Expedition Focus:
Sustainability (composting and recycling), Homelessness, Conservation and Habitats, Farm to Table, Gleaning, Being Makers/Builders, Water, Writing the Biographies of the Elderly, Trees as a Social Justice Issue and Understanding and Advocating for People with Disabilities
